Destin Vacation Day 4!!!!!

Day 4 has been a beautiful and busy day!!! Once again it is HOT and Sunny!! I took lots of pictures today and had lots of fun!!! This one is my favorite. You would never guess by looking at all the smiles below that I had to threaten each and everyone one of them so they would sit in the sand and smile!

here is the girls before we went into Fudpuckers. We really liked that place it was cool. I love the way they decorated. I told Bert i want tin cans as light fixtures. (dont worry it will never happen)

I think Emily was coming up for air and I took the picture!! (hey check out that little pool behind Bert and mallorie. That is the kiddy pool that we mistaken for a Hot Tub. Trust me it looked a lot bigger the first night we was here!)

This was funny. Needed a camcorder instead of a camera. Mallorie came up to sit by Bert and fell through the chair and made it flip. Priceless!!

Well that pretty much wraps up day 4. We are chilling out in the room and eating some snacks. We will probably play tennis and give the resort some free entertainment. We gotta rest up cause tomorrow we are going to Big Kahunans!!!

Destin Vacation Day 3!

The third day is actually the first SUNNY, not a cloud in the sky day!!

and were all tourist so we all got Burnt!! Didnt really feel the burn since the wind was blowing, we all noticed our lobster red skin when we came inside. What is funny is that Linzy's back is the only thing burnt, she spent all her time in the water looking for crabs, so her back seen the sun all day. This is Bert burried in the sand, this was Emily and Linzy's doing.

Mattress surfing. I think this should be a sport! Its very hard especially since our mattress has a hole in it and constantly leaking air.
Notice mallorie, yeah she is still reading. this is pretty much what she does the whole time. some cute little boy stopped by and talked to her today and she never put the book down. it was funny.

Bert and I and all the girls wanted to go sit in the hot tub for a little while before going to bed on the first night we was here. So....we all walked down to the pool and seen the hot tub, but it had alot of people in it, there was another one in between the hot tub and the pool, it looked alot smaller though, but hey it was empty, so we all loaded up in it.. So there we all are sitting and wondering why the water is not hot, why there are no jets and why is everyone staring at us!!! Well thats when we figured out that we was all in the KIDDIE POOL!!!!! Now how funny its that!!! glad there were no cameras..I am still embarrassed!!!

Destin Vacation Day 2!!

Today was fun, slept in until 10am, we sat in the hot tub while it was pouring down raining (which turned out to be a whole lot of fun) and drank strawberry smoothies!! Bad part of day, Linzy got sick and threw up half the afternoon, she's fine now and going wide open as usual!! Finished off the day at Joe's Crab Shack!!

My Best Friend Ruth!!!!

Ok, so this is my best friend Ruth! She is absolutely great. She is everything that a best friend is suppose to be. And I bet sometimes she wonders how she got stuck with me. All I can say is that's how God likes to work. Together we remind me of Lucy and Ethel, so how much fun is that!!

TORIO!!!

Just wanted to blog about Victoria. Victoria is my Best Friends daughter, (I will show you her later). We have been together for almost 8 years. We consider Victoria our neice and Linzy has the contract to prove it!! When the girls was little, they got together to sign a contract saying that we was now related. So I reckon they adopted us and we adopted them. This picture was taken after it had been a week since Bert had seen Victoria, so you can tell he missed her!!
